This Fund was established in 1996 by the Board of Directors of Leadership Wilkes-Barre on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the organization to honor Msgr. Andrew J. McGowan, the first Chair of its Board of Directors. Proceeds are directed to scholarships for Leadership Wilkes-Barre participants to assist with their tuition.

The Luzerne Foundation helps people create funds to do good things today and lasting good for tomorrow.
