The fund was established by Shawn’s family and friends to honor his memory and celebrate his legacy of caring for people. The fund is intended to support those programs, causes, services and charities that were important to Shawn. Shawn was chef, and loved to serve people; therefore, the fund will also support the food pantry of the Wyoming United Presbyterian church. The fund provides assistance to children and young adults who may want to attend Camp Acahela and/or Goose Pond sponsored by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and/or Camp Lackawanna sponsored by the Presbytery of Lackawanna.
