The purpose for which this organization is organized are to secure closer official personal relationship among the police officers and Member departments of the Association; to secure unity of action in police matters; to elevate the standards of the police officers and Member departments of the Association; the adoption of humane efforts in the enforcement of laws; to devise and suggest ways and means for the advancement of a uniform police system among Member departments of the Association; the furtherance by of matters or issues affecting the enforcement of laws and police officers; and, the advancement of all matters pertaining to the prevention and detection of crime.
