This scholarship was established by Dr. William C. Kashatus on behalf of the Kashatus family and is awarded annually to a student graduating from Greater Nanticoke Area High School. Preference is given to a student from a single parent home.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a graduating senior of Greater Nanticoke Area High School, PA;
- Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree at any accredited 2 or 4-year college/university in LUZERNE COUNTY as a full-time student;
- Must be involved in at least one of GNA High School’s extracurricular activities;
- Must demonstrate an aptitude for and plans to enter a course of study in the Health Care Sciences or Education;
- Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA;
- Must show demonstrated financial need.
