The Charlotte Williams Thomas Award Fund was established by Charlotte, her family and friends to recognize and honor her 28 years of dedicated service to the Practical Nursing Program of the Wilkes-Barre Area Vocational Technical School in Wilkes-Barre. The Fund is dedicated to preserving and recognizing those human traits of compassion and caring that are essential in the health care profession. This Fund shall award scholarship assistance to a qualified full-time student in the Practical Nursing Program at WBAVTS who plans to practice a career in nursing within Northeastern, PA after graduation.
