Established by friends and donors of Back Mountain Recreation, Inc., this Fund will help support and promote healthy activities and environmental stewardship, provide educational opportunities to residents of the Back Mountain communities of Luzerne and Wyoming counties. |
Established by the Bear Creek Historical Society, this Fund originated from excess funds raised for the rebuilding of the Bear Creek Dam and will now be used to help maintain, preserve and enhance this historic landmark. |
This organizational endowment Fund was created in 2006 to help preserve and maintain the Constance L. Bell Library at the Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, CT. The Ethel Walker School, founded in 1911, is an independent, college preparatory boarding and day school for girls in grades 6 through 12. |
Junior Achievement of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Inc. (JA) was created in 1968 to provide students in kindergarten through Grade 12 a better understanding of the worlds of business and economics. The Junior Achievement Endowment Fund is designed to ensure that students in Northeastern Pennsylvania will have the opportunity to participate in JA’s hands-on learning programs, now and into the future. |

The mission is accomplished through assessing and responding to emerging and ever changing community needs and by training League members to be leaders in the community. |
This organizational endowment Fund will be used for financial assistance to ongoing programs, services and administration of the Osterhout Free Library, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County’s oldest free public library. The Osterhout Free Library provides materials and services to all residents, free of charge, for their personal, educational, recreational and professional needs. The Library was established by Isaac Osterhout in 1889 and serves over 200,000 visitors each year. |
This organizational endowment Fund was established to support the important programs and services REACH provides to its clients in the Wyoming Valley and Northeastern Pennsylvania, in particular, the education and training of the children and clients of REACH, Inc. |
Established by the SPCA of Luzerne County, this Fund is named in memory of the SPCA's heroic efforts to save Jade, a beloved Rottweiler. It may, at the discretion of the SPCA, be used to help pay for veterinary care not included in the SPCA's regular budget when extraordinary medical care is necessary for an animal in their care. |
The Spay/Neuter Assistance Program helps low-income households in Luzerne County get their pets fixed, which in turn reduces the number of unwanted animals turned in to the shelter each year. Established by the SPCA of Luzerne County, the goal of this permanent fund is to generate income that will be used to support the Spay/Neuter Assistance Program. |

The Greater Pittston YMCA was founded in 1880 and today serves nearly three in five people in the Greater Pittston region as a community center for all ages and abilities. This endowment Fund was established to ensure long-term financial viability of the Pittston YMCA and provide program assistance to children and families in financial need, as well as membership and camp tuition assistance. |
