The Luzerne Foundation Community Celebration - "Here for the Good of us All" - will be held on Wednesday May 19, 2010 at the River Common. This will be the first major event to occur at the River Common this year and it is open to the entire community!
The fun begins at 5 p.m. with a performance by Cabinet - a bluegrass band - strolling jugglers, magicians and balloon animal artists.
At 6:15 p.m. The Luzerne Foundation will present the Mary Bevevino Service Award to Richard Maslow, a long-time arts philanthropist and friend of The Foundation. Read more about Dick by clicking on the link to the right. We'll also announce the recipients of the Spring Grant Cycle.
The event continues with more live entertainment featuring George Wesley. There will be vendors for refreshments, information tables for many area nonprofits and more. If you're interested in becoming a sponsor or vendor at this event please click on the Sponsorship icon to the right.
Parking is available across the street in the Irem Temple, Volunteers of America, First Liberty Bank and Penn Millers parking lots.
