Judge Jennifer L. Rogers lived in West Pittston until she was 3. Her parents moved to Baltimore, where she grew up, but she continued to visit Luzerne County to see her grandparents and other family members.
Judge Jennifer Rogers earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and her J.D. from Widener University School of Law.
Following her graduation, Judge Jennifer Roger worked in public relations for Wilkes‐Barre General Hospital from 1990 to 1993. She then worked for Hourigan, Kluger and Quinn law firm from 1996 until 2006.
In 2006 she founded the Law Offices of Jennifer L. Rogers, LLC., specializing in civil and family law in Kingston, Pennsylvania.
From August 2007 to September 2010, Rogers worked as a part‐time soliciting attorney for the Luzerne County Children and Youth Services.
Judge Jennifer Rogers was elected to Judge on the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania in 2011 and will serve in this position until 2022.
Judge Jennifer L. Rogers is also a board member of the Music Box Playhouse in Swoyersville where she has appeared in many plays over the years.
